Step 1 - choosing the paint

After a little celebration in the empty space, time comes for me to choose the paint!

My first choice is using white in the living area... but which one? It sounds like an easy choice... but after a long research I went for Antique White U.S.A. (Dulux) for the walls; and the skirting boards and door will match the pure white of the sealing (crisp white).


For the kitchen I'm really keen on an orange... risky choice, so to make sure it is the perfect one I have to try with a bigger sample. The final choice is Thunderbird (Porters).


Now it's time to measure the surfaces to know how many sqm I have to cover with each of the chosen colours.

The beginning

Hello there,

I never had a blog in my life... but there is always a first time, right?

And so it is, this is the beginning of a blog completely dedicated to the renovation of my own first place: a wonderful little studio in an art deco building!

This blog will be showing the evolution of the apartment step by step. To begin with here are some picture of the place as it was initially advertised by the real estate agent
